On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Bullitt East High School standout Mario Rivas’ current college team, the Kentucky State Thorobreds, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shorter Hawks.

The game took place at Robert H. Ledbetter Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Thorobreds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. at Gresham Park against Morehouse Maroon Tigers.
