Bullitt Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
The HOSA club has entered a competition with other high schools throughout KY to promote Donate for Life. We will need to register people to be organ donors and also educate the school and community on the need for donors. We will receive points for every person registered and for activities we complete during Oct. 13th- Nov. 4th. We could win as much as $1,000. We have come up with some creative ideas so far (art display in the main hall, school wide "organ" scavenger hunt, and a short commercial). We do have a couple activities we were hoping someone could help us out with. We would love to get this promoted in the Pioneer News, on a local radio station, and through local organizations (Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, etc.). If you could help us in any way we would greatly appreciate it.
