WINSTON-SALEM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Startup Accelerator for Creative Companies Launches in Winston-Salem

City of Russell Springs issued the following announcement.

Entrepreneurial ecosystem partner Center for Creative Economy is introducing a new accelerator program for creative startups. Kinetic Creative Boot Camp helps creatives get ready to launch their business idea. It’s a 4-week hands-on “learning and doing” experience for creatives who are ready to turn their idea into a business.

Workshops will take place in Winston-Salem, NC from February 29 through March 28. Participants must be able to attend the Kinetic sessions in person. Workshops will help participants develop a business model, budget, and target market. The cost of Kinetic is $249 for those who are selected and confirm their participation.

Program Dates:

December 5, 2019 – Application Opens

February 2, 2020 – Application Closes at 11:59 pm

February 12, 2020 – Selected applicants are notified

February 21, 2020 – Payments are due for participation

February 29, 2020 – Kinetic begins with a half-day workshop

Month of March – Workshops every Tuesday and Thursday evening

March 28, 2020 – Kinetic ends with a half-day workshop

Kinetic serves creative entrepreneurs that are using their design, art, music, theatre, film, writing, culinary, interactive digital media, and an array of artisanal skills to solve a problem for their customers. It is designed for you to take that cool idea you’ve been thinking about and create a mission, vision and value proposition for a potential customer.
