14.1% of households in Junction received food stamps in 2020

Junction ranked 257th in Kentucky for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 122 Junction households (14.1 percent) who received food stamps. Junction's population was 1,944 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Arjay, which had 105 of 123 households receiving food stamps, 71.3 percent more than Junction. In 2020 the population of Arjay was 265.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Pewee Valley, which had one of 504 households receiving food stamps, 13.9 percent less than Junction. In 2020 the population of Pewee Valley was 1,553.
