Washington County Schools are continuing to review options to complete Phase II of Washington County High School which is the athletic fields/sports facilities. The estimated cost is $30 million (this includes the auditorium phase). The district’s projected bonding capacity is $11.4 million. The board plans to take our available funding and start working toward our goal of having onsite facilities for our high school students.
We are seeking feedback from ONLY Washington County residents that are parents and/or community members. (Current Washington County students in grades 6-12 will be polled at school).
Please keep in mind:
• Only parents and/or community members who live in Washington County may participate in the survey
• One vote per household (If multiple people from one household submit a vote, ONLY THE FIRST VOTE will be counted)
• Incomplete surveys WILL NOT be counted
• The information obtained from this survey will be one piece of data the Board of Education members will use when making their decision on how to start Phase II.
• Please remember, we want to do it all at the same time, but we do not have the bonding capacity.
We appreciate your input!
